MORRISTOWN, N.J., May 21, 2015 /Standard Newswire/ -- Liquid Church, one of New Jersey's fastest growing Christian churches, is cancelling all 11 of its services statewide on May 31st in order to host New Jersey families at the beach for one of the largest Sunday Services in the state. Dubbed "Liquid at the Shore," the full day event in Ocean Grove, NJ includes a service at The Great Auditorium with live music and an inspiring message, followed by an After-Party along Ocean Pathway and Liquid's first-ever beach baptisms.

Liquid at the Shore is free and everyone in New Jersey is welcome, but registration is required via lqd.ch/shore. Thousands from Liquid's campuses in Morristown, Mountainside, New Brunswick and Nutley are expected to attend this historic service.

"Liquid at the Shore is an open-invitation event. After this winter, we simply think everyone in New Jersey deserves a refreshing day at the beach to kick-off summer," said Tim Lucas, lead pastor and founder of Liquid Church. "In our 8 year history we've hosted services in movie theaters, hotels, schools and we've even rebirthed a 191-year-old church in Mountainside, NJ, but this is our first service at the Jersey Shore."

One of Liquid's core values is that "Church is Fun," which is why a number of surprises are planned for the day, included an appearance by Justin Flom. Currently starring in the SyFy show Wizard Wars and a regular on the Ellen Degeneres Show, Justin will be one highlight of the After-Party.

The day will be capped-off as hundreds take the plunge in the Atlantic Ocean to be baptized. A schedule of the day's events may be found online.
