TAMPA, Fla., July 10, 2023 /Standard Newswire/ -- Shevin McCullough and Australian performer Father Rob Galea are set to debut their new single EMMANUEL FOREVER in the presence of Pope Francis. The duo will perform the song live for the first time on August 4 at World Youth Day on the Central Stage in Lisbon, Portugal.

McCullough, a popular Tampa-based recording artist, says the hip-hop-styled worship song stresses humanity's need for a savior and God's extraordinary mercy. "EMMANUEL FOREVER is a straight-up worship song," he says. "God's love and mercy are infinite. He's completely available to us, waiting for us to encounter Him."

Studio 3:16 will release the video for EMMANUEL FOREVER in August. The single will drop on Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Music on August 4.

The song is emblematic of the work McCullough and Studio 3:16 co-founder Rob Reynolds have been doing for the past two years in developing resources for Catholic religion classes. "The Gospel message is timeless," Reynolds explains. "We're embracing St. John Paul II's New Evangelization and doing something relevant, engaging, and modern with the Gospel."

More than 38 dioceses in 24 states are using Studio 3:16's materials in their schools and religious education programs.

STUDIO 3:16® is a supplemental resource for Catholic elementary/middle school religion classes designed to help kids develop a closer relationship with Christ. Each lesson is designed to engage, relate to, and educate students through a four-step learning model -- "Pray, Watch, Reflect, and Apply." The Studio 3:16® program includes a teacher's guide, comprehensive lesson plans, student activity sheets, 27 Hollywood-level lesson videos, and more. Studio 3:16's parent company is Cross Boss Media, LLC.

WORLD YOUTH DAY. More than a million Catholic youth are expected to gather from Aug. 1-6 in Lisbon, Portugal. Pope St. John Paul II founded the Catholic youth festival in 1985. Pope Francis will travel to Portugal and close the event on Aug. 6. The pope's WYD schedule is here.

INTERVIEW OPPORTUNITY:

SHEVIN McCULLOUGH is co-founder of Studio 3:16®. He is the company's writer, lead talent, and producer. In Studio 3:16's episodes, he stars as a good-natured yet misguided recording artist whose task is to create and release a song to explain the Sunday Gospel passage through the guidance of friends and humorously providential missteps. In 2020, the Catholic convert recorded two Christian hip-hop albums -- "It's Time" and "Stories of the Saints."

ROB REYNOLDS is a born entrepreneur. Studio 3:16's cofounder is a former school teacher and real estate developer who co-founded Avesta, a Tampa-based multifamily real estate investment and management company, in 2010.

He helped grow Avesta to 450 employees and $1.7 billion in real estate assets. He also led the company's culture, resulting in national recognition as No. 19 in Fortune's Top 100 Medium Workplaces.
