Robert Blaha Announces Run for U.S. Senate Challenges Permanent Political Class

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., Jan. 15, 2016 /Standard Newswire/ -- Conservative outsider Robert Blaha announces his candidacy for U.S. Senate.  As the permanent political class has swelled in Washington, DC, comprised of elected officials who cannot relate to everyday Americans, Blaha believes now is the time for a different cut of leader in Washington.

"Senator Michael Bennett and members of the permanent political class have empowered President Obama's policies, and their own agendas rather than the needs of constituents," Blaha said, "Senator Bennett is one of the bozos in the three ring circus that is now the U.S. Senate."

Blaha vows to change Washington with an agenda focused on eradicating the tax system, slashing illegal immigration, and drastically cutting the deficit.  "If I am not able to reduce illegal immigration by fifty percent, drastically cut the deficit, and help fix this horrific tax system, I'll voluntarily leave after one term."

Blaha is the first candidate for federal office in Colorado to promise to voluntarily leave the Senate if he cannot succeed in making change occur.

Blaha has lived in Colorado for over two decades with his wife Susan and his family.  He enjoys the Colorado lifestyle and admires the spirit of its residents but sees the disconnect between Michael Bennett and his elitist agenda and the desires of Coloradans.  Speaking today, Blaha said, "It's an honor to be able to get in the fray and be a strong, mature voice for Coloradans, a voice uncensored and uncontrolled by the permanent political class in Washington."

Robert Blaha is a Republican candidate for U.S. Senate. More information about Robert is available on his website at BlahaForColorado.com
