The original song was written by Timothy Buckman for the film "the 24 Hour Intimate Position" which raises awareness and empowers women. "The song is an anthem for all women, and certainly for those fighting breast cancer," said Rae. The award-winning screenplay by Karen Hemmerle, turned into a film by Rae, also stars an all Colorado cast which will be released later this year.

The entire artistic project for a cause is fueled by an all Colorado team both in front of the camera and behind the scenes. To reach a broader audience, the music video is also captioned in English and Spanish courtesy of VZP Digital.

The music video, "Girls Like Me," was shot on location in Morrison, Colorado utilizing the elements of the red rocks and snow to highlight the beauty of Colorado while propelling the message of strength, courage, and resilience of women everywhere.

Proceeds made from the downloads will fund a larger campaign to help women battling breast cancer. Aleta herself is a survivor and Rae's mother passed away from breast cancer.

Everyone is encouraged to like, share and download often to support this artistic collaboration to kick breast cancer's butt!
