ALGONQUIN, Ill., Oct.27, 2014 /Standard Newswire/ -- ministry23 LLC is excited to announce a companion DVD to supplement and enhance Christopher Ruff's Who is My Neighbor? small group resource. The DVD features Christopher Ruff expanding on the narratives of the book, complemented with biographical images and video.

Who is My Neighbor? is a small group resource within Christopher Ruff's Discipleship Series. The videos take participants into the Gospels and into the lives of contemporary individuals who truly lived out particular Gospel themes. Each of these individuals lived their lives in service to others and in love of Christ.

This DVD features 6 engaging video sessions, each reflecting on a vital theme rooted in the Gospels and Catechism and illustrated through brief stories of men and women touched by grace: Jean Vanier, Dorothy Day, Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati, Norma McCorvey, St. John Vianney and Edith Stein.

Who is My Neighbor? teaches participants simple ways of adding service to their lives. They are taught that a person does not need to travel to third world countries in order to serve, but can find ways to serve their neighbors in their daily lives.

Author Christopher Ruff lived and studied theology in Rome in the 1980's, receiving his Licentiate of Sacred Theology from the John Paul II Institute for Marriage and the Family. He also holds a Master of Arts in counseling psychology from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul. He currently serves as the Director of the Office of Ministries and Social Concerns for the Diocese of La Crosse.

Who is My Neighbor? can be purchased through Catholic Word Publisher Group at catholicword.com. For more information contact sales@catholicword.com, 1-800-932-3826.
