Contact: Jennifer Kimball Watson, 202-289-2500

WASHINGTON, March 26, 2018 /Standard Newswire/ -- The Culture of Life Foundation and Ave Maria School of Law have partnered to form the Culture of Life Institute at Ave Maria School of Law. This new Institute, entered into by Ave Maria School of Law President and Dean Kevin Cieply and Culture of Life Foundation Executive Director Jennifer Kimball Watson, was launched Thursday, March 22 at the Ave Maria Law Campus with a Champagne toast by AML Founder Tom Monaghan, former founding member of The Culture of Life Foundation in March of 1997. The Institute will offer programs in ethical principles as applied to the fields of law and policy.

"The Culture of Life Foundation's Board could not be happier to see our organization establish the Institute at AML. Ave Maria Law, its Dean and President Kevin Cieply, along with Faculty and Staff, are wonderful hosts who share our commitment to supporting and strengthening natural law foundations in law and policy. The new Culture of Life Institute, its proposed educational programs, scholarly work and media outreach promise to bring a deeper understanding of bioethics to the field of law and policy. Joining with Ave Maria Law to launch this new Institute promises to be fruitful and effective as together we will form future leaders in law and policy in Natural Law Principles and applied ethics while working with the academic community to strengthen the foundations of Natural Law reasoning. The new programs will be housed both at the Ave Maria Law campus in Naples, FL as well as here in Washington, DC," said Jennifer Kimball Watson, Be.L., Executive Director of the Culture of Life Foundation.

Ave Maria School of Law President and Dean Kevin Cieply, commented, "Ave Maria School of Law is thrilled to be partnering with the Culture of Life Foundation. Given our common missions, faith and reason, as well as respect for the dignity of life, we believe that by working together we can advance our goals through synergy, mutual support, and helping each other create a national and global platform."

The Culture of Life Foundation is a 501c3 research and educational institute that exists to engage and strengthen public reason, form the moral conscience, and reveal and present the truths about the human person at all stages of life and in all conditions.
