WASHINGTON, June 26, 2013 /Standard Newswire/ -- Immediately following the Wednesday, June 26 session of the Supreme Court, which is expected to include opinions on two same-sex marriage cases, the Reverend Dr. Rob Schenck will make a brief statement to the media on the sidewalk level immediately in front of the Court's plaza. He will make extended remarks from a podium set up nearby and kneel to say a prayer for families.

Dr. Schenck is chairman of the Evangelical Church Alliance International, one of America's oldest associations of independent evangelical clergy, including military chaplains. Since 1994, he has been a full-time minister to top government officials on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. He is also president of the National Clergy Council, a network of church leaders from all Christian denominations that advocates for traditional opposite-sex marriage.
