Directed and executive produced by Robert John Hammond, American Orthodox is based on his acclaimed book - American Orthodox: Finding the Ancient Faith in the Modern World - available now on Amazon. The film tells a deeply personal and visually rich story of spiritual discovery, Orthodox saints, sacred places, and the living tradition of the ancient Christian faith on American soil.
The film’s Director of Photography is Silas Karbo, award-winning producer and co-creator of Sacred Alaska, whose visual storytelling brings the American Orthodox journey to life with reverence and cinematic beauty. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing, has taught graduate-level screenwriting, and has spent over a decade exploring the spiritual landscape of America through books and film.
