City Officials Promise to Halt Construction on New Planned Parenthood Abortion Center if They Are in Code Violation

Contact: Rev. Patrick Mahoney, 540-538-4741

WASHINGTON, July 22, 2015 /Standard Newswire/ -- Activists visited the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs pointing out violation's in Planned Parenthood's construction project.

In those meetings, officials from that agency promised to send out inspectors tomorrow to see if Planned Parenthood is involved in any code violations.

Pro-life activists to hold a news conference on Wednesday, July 22, at 12:00 P.M. at the new location of the Planned Parenthood abortion center.

The address is 1225 4th St. NE Washington, D.C.

The group to also discuss the launch of a national campaign called, "Not In Our Town DC," which is an effort to stop the new Planned Parenthood abortion center from opening in the nation's capital.

Planned Parenthood has faced a storm of public outrage after an undercover investigation revealed they were involved in the selling of aborted baby parts.

Rev. Patrick Mahoney, Pastor of Church on the Hill in Washington, D.C., states;

    "We visited officials from the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs today for the City of Washington, D.C.  We shared with them several building code violations we observed at the proposed location of a new Planned Parenthood abortion center.  The officials informed us they would send out an inspector tomorrow and if Planned Parenthood was in violation of any city codes the project would be shut down.

    "We are also announcing the launch of 'Not In Our Town DC,' which is a national campaign to peacefully, publicly  and prayerfully work to ensure no Planned Parenthood abortion center opens in our nation's capital.

    "Just as we would not want to see a new KKK chapter open in Washington, D.C. or an organization that supported human trafficking; so we do not want an organization in our town that was founded by a racist and KKK supporter, deals in the selling and trafficking of aborted baby body parts, diminishes women and destroys innocent human life.

    "Our prayer is that Planned Parenthood would end up on the scrapheap of history like slavery, segregation and bigots like Bull Conner.  Our nation's capital should be a place that embraces justice and human rights rather than violence."
