Hello friends. This month’s newsletter seems to be a good opportunity for an update. My late uncle, the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once wrote a book: WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE? That is always a timely question.

Here we are, three quarters into the year 2025. As one who was born almost a century ago, I’m now 75 years old. I was born on January 22nd, 1951; a day which later marked the infamous Roe v. Wade Day and the March for Life Day in America.

I'm just amazed that by the grace of God we are about to celebrate 250 years of life in this great country, America. America, America, God shed His grace on thee, and crown thy good with brotherhood [and sisterhood] from sea to shining sea.

Today, God is surely up to something; and that is always true. Here at ALVEDA KING MINISTRIES , we are ever busy in God’s Kingdom. Here’s a snapshot of current events:

We are participating in promoting a powerful new movie, Pardon Me, the story of Bevelyn B. Williams, who was arrested in front of a planned parenthood facility for simply encouraging others to choose life.

There are some absolutely prophetic meetings at the embassy ATL, a powerful ministry here in Atlanta, Georgia.

Then, I'm joining the group CFFAD; a family group that promotes marriage, family, and Christian living.

We just finished up with the State Farmers Market with the United States Department of Agriculture, where I am the Senior Advisor to the Faith Center under the leadership of President Donald J. Trump and Secretary Brooke Rollins.

I've also appeared in the popular Jesus Freaks movie produced by Nina and Colby May. My son, Rev. Jarrett Ellis is also featured in that movie.

Let’s end with words of encouragement. Things can appear to be pretty chaotic and terrible. We have all these reports, so many bad things happening. And yet God is always good. Please be reminded. Never be overcome by evil. Overcome evil with good, because God is good.
