SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 26, 2016 /Standard Newswire/ -- Sue Ellen Browder, a pro-life family feminist and author of SUBVERTED, praised clothing retailer Land's End decision to issue a statement yesterday apologizing for its controversial decision to feature an interview with prominent abortion activist Gloria Steinem in its spring magazine after it received numerous complaints from pro-life customers.
"Lands End executives did exactly the right thing," said Browder. "A view of women's 'liberation' that turns a woman into a sex object who 'needs' abortion to be free (as pro-abortion feminists like Steinem continually claim) is a false freedom that denies a woman's full personhood."
The magazine emphasized Steinem's efforts to pass an Equal Rights Amendment (ERA), which could expand abortion in the United States.

A mother's rights and her baby's rights are not separate and isolated from each other. Human rights are indivisible."
