Appellate Court Halts Order Voiding California's Assisted Suicide Law

NAPA, Calif., June 18, 2018 /Standard Newswire/ -- A California appellate court has granted the Attorney General's request to stay, or halt, the trial court's order striking down the End of Life Option Act as unconstitutional. The appellate order temporarily reinstates the Act, which decriminalizes assisted suicide, pending a determination of Attorney General Becerra's writ petition.
