BUFFALO, N.Y., June 6, 2025 /Standard Newswire/ — In a time of escalating global antisemitism and rising tensions in the Middle East, Eagles’ Wings—under the leadership of Bishop Robert Stearns—has once again taken bold action to stand with Israel by leading its largest-ever delegation of U.S. pastors to the Holy Land.

On June 2, over 40 pastors from 20 states departed on a transformative tour of Israel as part of the Israel Christian Nexus initiative, a strategic pastors' network led by Bishop Robert Stearns and founded by Eagles’ Wings. The impact of this high-level tour is poised to reverberate across churches and communities nationwide.

From the moment the group touched down in Israel, the experience has been immersive and intense. Early stops included Tel Aviv, Jaffa, and Caesarea, where participants gained first-hand knowledge and perspective about the historical re-birth of the state of Israel, as well as seeing the biblical context of the Mediterranean region that is so prominent in the accounts of the prophet Jonah, the apostle Peter, the Roman centurion Cornelius, and more.

In Hostages Square, pastors stood in solemn witness to the continued captivity of dozens of Israeli hostages in Gaza.

The delegation also met with Jay Shultz, founder of the Am Yisrael Foundation, whose work includes initiatives such as “Adopt-a-Safta,” “Join the IDF,” and “White City Shabbat”—all focused on supporting Jewish life and resilience in Israel.

After time along the coast, the group journeyed north to the Galilee, where they worshipped on a boat in the Sea of Galilee, were baptized in the Jordan River, and visited Magdala, a site of extraordinary archaeological discovery from the time of Jesus.

Next, the group heads to Jerusalem for a powerful finale that includes:

• Key biblical and historical sites
• A memorable Shabbat dinner with Jewish families
• Strategic briefings with Israeli thought leaders

Among these leaders is Noy Loeb, a heroic Israeli reservist who left New York in October 2023 to fight with his elite commando unit during the Hamas attacks and has since served on the Lebanon border confronting Hezbollah.

The pastors will also visit Kibbutz Nahal Oz, Sderot, and the Nova Festival grounds—all tragic epicenters of the October 7th attacks.
