NASHVILLE, May 11, 2015 /Standard Newswire/ -- The 8th annual Hungry for Hope conference will be held June 25 – 27, 2015 in Nashville at the Factory of Franklin. Hungry for Hope is the country's premiere Christian conference for eating disorders and body image issues. This year's theme is "Love Well." The conference features clinical and inspirational experts and authors.

"At Hungry for Hope, we're known for the creative way we combine clinical teaching, storytelling, worship and the arts to help truth move from our heads to our hearts," said Constance Rhodes, founder and CEO of FINDINGbalance, the non-profit that hosts Hungry for Hope. "Building a positive community is one of our key priorities with this conference. One of the most common things we hear from attendees is how they've made friends they keep long after the event is over."

Hungry for Hope is aimed at both clinicians and community members, who work with or struggle with eating and body image issues. The conference hopes to awaken attendees to hopes and dreams that are long abandoned, and will focus on the power of God's love and truth for healing and wholeness. Clinicians can earn up to 7.5 Continuing Education (CE) credits on the clinical track, and general sessions for the community include workshops on body, father and soul love, including practical instruction on intuitive eating and healthy self-care.

Featured speakers include Margaret Nagib, PsyD, clinical psychologist and Lisaura Lozada-Goode, LCPC, BC-DMT, both of Timberline Knolls, a leading treatment center offering Christian treatment for women and adolescent girls struggling with eating disorders, trauma, addiction, mood and co-occurring disorders.

"There are many conferences that offer continuing education workshops," said Margaret Nagib, PsyD, clinical psychologist from Timberline Knolls. "What makes this conference unique is that it spends a lot of time ministering to the souls of those who come which promotes long-term benefits for both the clinicians and general audience attendees."

The conference will also feature acclaimed musical artist JJ Heller as well as Jill and Derick Dillard of the television show, "19 Kids and Counting." They both will share at the FREEDOMstories gala to close the Hungry for Hope conference. The gala event is invitation only, but a small number of tickets have been allotted for HFH attendees. Attendees can add this to their order when checking out online. (One per person, while they last).
