NAB Crystal Radio Awards Entries Due February 4

WASHINGTON, Jan. 4, 2011 /Standard Newswire/ -- Radio stations can now submit entries for the National Association of Broadcasters' 2011 Crystal Radio Awards. Entry information is available online.

Established in 1987, the NAB Crystal Radio Awards recognize radio stations for their year-round commitment to service to their communities. To enter, a station must submit a document describing their community service efforts for the past calendar year.

Crystal Radio Awards finalists and winners are chosen by judges with broadcast and community service backgrounds. Entry information is available on NAB's website or by calling Melek Demir at 202-775-3511.

Entry submissions must be received by Feb 4. The Crystal Radio Awards finalists will be revealed on Monday, March 14. Winners will be announced and the finalists will be honored at the NAB Radio Luncheon. The Luncheon, sponsored by ASCAP, will be held Tuesday, April 12 during the 2011 NAB Show in Las Vegas.
