LAS VEGAS, Oct. 13, 2011 /Standard Newswire/ -- Veteran racer Davey Hamilton will drive the No. 11 Dreyer and Reinbold Racing entry, sponsored by HP and Kingdom Racing, one final time in 2011 in the INDYCAR World Championships at Las Vegas Motor Speedway scheduled for 3:00 PM ET, Sunday, October 16th on ABC. This is the fourth INDYCAR Race for Hamilton in 2011, and the seventh for Kingdom Racing following their three race support of Martin Plowman's Snowball Express races. "This has clearly been our most involved year in INDYCAR and Ministry efforts" said founder George Del Canto. "We look forward to Davey's race in Las Vegas and are excited by what God has planned for us next year."

Davey Hamilton says "As a driver, it's another 1.5-mile track and one that I'm familiar with so it's always good to get on track no matter what. It's really cool that there will be 34 cars and as tough as this is you have to be spot on to be able to have a chance to run in the top-10 and it was definitely an advantage for us that we were able to test back in August."

In 2011, Hamilton finished 24th in the Centennial running of the Indianapolis 500 on May 29th, followed by 27th and 25th place finishes in the twin events at Texas. Sunday will mark the end of Hamilton's eleventh season competing in the INDYCAR Series. With a record number of entries (34), Las Vegas will also be the final INDYCAR event featuring the venerable Dallara/Honda/Firestone combination before a new formula debuts in 2012.
