PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla., June 20, 2014 /Standard Newswire/ -- On June 20, 2014 Wet Seal publicized online five winners of their annual nationwide model search. Incoming Ponte Vedra High School Freshman, Grace McCullough (photo) received a telephone call from Wet Seal on Tuesday informing her that she had won, asking that the news not be made public until the official announcement on June 20.

Over 34,000 model entries were narrowed down to 100 in May; each of whom had to produce and post a one-minute video to Wet Seal's Facebook page.  A two-week period of public online voting chose 25 finalists. From the 25 online favorites, Wet Seal chose five young women as Wet Seal's 2014 National Model Search Winners.

In early August the five will be flown to Wet Seal's corporate offices in California for three days of modeling Wet Seal clothing, a fashion shoot and to meet a representative of Wilhelmina Models.

Grace McCullough is in New York City with the St. Augustine based dance group Showtime USA until Sunday. To arrange a telephone interview please contact her mother, Melody McCullough, 904-687-9691.
