BUFFALO, N.Y., July 18, 2025 /Standard Newswire/ -- For more than 30 years, the ministry of Eagles’ Wings, led by Bishop Robert Stearns, has been powerfully uniting and mobilizing believers from the East Coast region, the entire nation, and internationally through the East Coast Conference each year. In the 31st year of this annual gathering, entitled “Who is On the Lord’s Side?”, several hundred believers assembled at Harvest Training Center in Cranford, NJ, on July 10-13 for four dynamic days of worship, teaching, and regionally-focused ministry.
The result was life-transforming.
In a moment of history when uncertainties fill the globe and Israel has been under direct existential attack in recent days from the nation of Iran, the people of God responded by declaring together in unity, “We are on the Lord’s side!”
Headlining the event was prophetic minister Patricia King, who gave a powerful word about spiritual identity, faith, and victorious warfare in the life of a believer. She warned against spiritual amnesia that causes believers to live beneath their covenant authority. In the opening session of the conference she declared, “When you fight the good fight of faith... you don’t just win the battle—you win the whole realm!”
Pastor Micah Wood, director of the Israel Christian Nexus, followed up the next morning with a session about Jesus’ journey and the call of believers to prepare His way. Drawing from Luke 9:51, he taught that just as Jesus “set His face toward Jerusalem,” the Church today must recognize the shift in God’s momentum back to Jerusalem.
Dr. Manny Arango brought a timely and transformative word about order, chaos, and divine alignment. Preaching with passion and clarity, he reminded those assembled that God is not the author of confusion, but of order—and where there is divine order, there is rest. From the story of Noah’s ark in Genesis chapters 6-9, Manny showed how God's instructions were detailed, measured, and specific—because order always precedes salvation and breakthrough. The ark was not just a boat; it was a blueprint for survival in a chaotic world. And today, the Church is called to build according to God’s pattern, not human preference.
Also at the gathering, internationally renowned leader and human rights advocate Archbishop Joseph D’Souza of the Good Shepherd Church of India spoke and led in a powerful celebration of the Eucharist, bringing insights about its universal application to the life of believers around the globe in the 21st century.
Throughout the event, times of worship were spearheaded by Resting Place House of Prayer along with the dynamic worship of Bishop Robert Stearns, Bryson Rory, Rory Comtois, and many others. A new resolve to stand for truth and righteousness came upon those who gathered together in God’s presence, many of whom are influential leaders of ministries and churches in the NYC/NJ region.
In this memorable gathering at a momentous time in our nation, a sound of worship and united declaration was lifted over the East Coast that will continue to bring fruitfulness in the Kingdom of God for many years to come.
