BATON ROUGE, La., May 14, 2025 /Standard Newswire/ — Governor Yossi Dagan, head of the Shomron (Samaria) Regional Council in Israel, will visit Baton Rouge this week as part of a U.S. tour aimed at educating and building support for Israel's sovereignty in the biblical heartland of Judea and Samaria.
Governor Dagan is working in partnership with Tony Perkins, President of Family Research Council, to strengthen relationships with U.S. leaders and faith communities who support Israel's historical and strategic rights in this vital region.
While in Baton Rouge, Governor Dagan will meet with elected officials and community leaders. He will also be the featured speaker at an invitation-only pastors' breakfast on Thursday, May 15, hosted at Family Research Council's Louisiana facility. The event will bring together pastors from across the state to hear firsthand about the realities facing Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria.
