No More Gosnells - Press Conference & Rally in Harrisburg on Tues, April 29 at 1PM

No More Gosnells - Pass House Bill 1762

Contact: Mike McMonagle, Pro-Life Coalition of Pennsylvania, 215-393-3610

HARRISBURG, Penn., April 28, 2014 /Standard Newswire/ -- The following is submitted by the Pro-Life Coalition of Pennsylvania:

    Press Conference and Rally
    Main Capitol Steps
    1:00 PM
    Tuesday, April 29, 2014

The purpose of this event is to promote the passage of H.B. 1762, Admitting Privileges Legislation. This bill would require abortionists to have admitting privileges at a hospital within 30 miles of the abortion facility where they wish to commit abortions. The investigations into the Kermit Gosnell West Philadelphia abortion facility have recommended such a requirement. Maggie Sweet, the Lehigh Valley Director of Silent No More (a pro-life advocacy organization of post-abortion women) and Mary Jo Cunningham from Pro-Life Berks will serve as the main speakers at this event. Their message is that Gosnell was not alone in the abortion industry's abuse of women.
