FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla., Sept. 5 /Standard Newswire/ --  Joseph Farah, founder and C.E.O. of WorldNetDaily will moderate the first ever Values Voter Presidential debate September 17th at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, in Ft. Lauderdale Florida.

"Don't miss it!" said Phyllis Schlafly, President of Eagle Forum, and Values Voter host committee member. "This debate will ask questions that other TV debates ignored." To make sure those questions are actually answered, Farah said he will use his role to "persuade the candidates to focus more precisely on what was asked."

Seven Republican candidates have confirmed their attendance, but hundreds of encouraging calls are being made to the few remaining unconfirmed candidates. "If they care about our votes, they'll care about our values," said Rick Scarborough, President of Vision America, and Values Voter host committee member. "And ALL of the candidates who care about our values will be at the Values Voter Debate in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on September 17th."

Pro-family leaders who'll be asking the questions include: Star Parker, of the Coalition on Urban Renewal and Education (CURE), Bobby Schindler, of Terri's Fight, Don Wildmon, Chairman of the American Family Association, Tom Scott, President and CEO of Sky Angel Television Network, Paul Weyrich, President of the Free Congress Foundation, Judge Roy Moore, Chairman of the Foundation for Moral Law, Rabbi Aryeh Spero, of the Jewish Action Alliance, Richard Thompson of the Thomas More Law Center, Brent Bozell, of the Media Research Center, Chaplain Gordon James Klingenschmitt, who fought for the right of Military Chaplains to pray in Jesus name, Vic Eliason, of VCY America, who will be broadcasting the event live for radio on Satellite, and Mat Staver of Liberty Counsel.
