Christians to Give Atheists at DC Rally $25,000 Worth of Subway Gift Cards
Contact:  Mark Spence, 800-437-1893, mark@livingwaters.com

LOS ANGELES, May 2, 2016 /Standard Newswire/ -- Thousands of atheists attending the Reason Rally 2016 at Washington Mall on June 4 will be greeted with a Subway gift card and a free book. The gifts are courtesy of best-selling author and cohost of the award-winning "The Way of the Master" TV show, Ray Comfort.

With the new book's provocative title--Fat Chance: Why pigs will fly before America has an atheist president--Comfort believes the "freethinkers" at the rally will find it of interest. "Most atheists don't know that there's never been an atheist president," he explained, "that no member of Congress is an atheist, that in some states it's illegal for atheists to run for office, and that recent surveys show that atheists in America are about as popular as rapists. It's a fascinating read."

Along with each book, Comfort's Living Waters ministry will be including a Subway gift card. The author added, "The $25,000 worth of gift cards are a little something for them to chew on (we are hoping to feed 5,000--it's been done before). This is a small token of our love for atheists, and when we run out of books and gift cards we will give them millions of dollars [click to view image]."

Rally organizers expect more than 20,000 atheists to attend, with speakers such as actor Johnny Depp, Professor Lawrence Krauss, Penn Jillette, and Bill Nye. During the rally, Comfort's group will be at the other end of the Mall, filming an open-air preaching session for his TV show. "It should be interesting," Comfort noted, "because we are bound to get a lot of hecklers."

Comfort's group needs help to give out the literature and is encouraging Christians to come to Washington, DC for the Saturday event. Details can be found at Livingwaters.com/dc-outreach.
