Women Hurt by Abortion Applaud Vice Presidential Candidate Governor Sarah Palin's Pro-Life Decisions

MEDIA ADVISORY, Sept. 5 /Standard Newswire/ -- "As women who have experienced the devastating emotional, psychological, and physical consequences of abortion, we applaud Governor Palin's pro-life decisions in every respect," says Lisa Dudley, Director of Outreach for Operation Outcry.

Operation Outcry is the project of The Justice Foundation to end legal abortion by exposing the truth about its devastating impact on women, men and families. Operation Outcry is working to restore justice and to protect women, men and children from the destruction that abortion causes by assisting, encouraging and training women and others to speak out in the public arena. Operation Outcry is presently collecting declarations from women and men hurt by abortion to use as evidence in courts and legislatures.

"Operation Outcry does not officially endorse candidates, but we are women who as individuals know firsthand the pain of abortion. We are very happy that Governor Palin has offered to love and support her daughter in her unplanned pregnancy and chose life for her own beautiful baby, Trig." says Lisa Dudley.

"Governor Palin has shown great respect for the gift of life in the birth of her own children. Children are a blessing from God, not a punishment." says Rebecca Porter, Operation Outcry Florida Leader.

Many of the women of Operation Outcry, such as Ava Fulmer, were forced by their parents to have abortions. Ava's father forced her to have an abortion of her twins as a teenager. Other women involved in Operation Outcry, such as Kelly Roy, team leader of Operation Outcry's "Campus Outcry" chose abortion at a very young age, and now they deeply regret those decisions. "That is why I am so appreciative of Governor Palin supporting her daughter's decision to choose life." says Kelly Roy.

Some of the women such as Millie Lace, Director of the National Helpline for Abortion Recovery, had been told that they should get abortions to avoid a deformed child being born and later deeply regretted their decision. "The decision whether she becomes Vice President will be up to the voters, however, her actions in support of life and health, for herself and her children, are commendable," says Millie Lace.
